You’ll go on a city tour to see the treasures, hidden and conspicuous, like the Monica Han caravanserai, Sarajevo Tunnel, and Bascarsija marketplace. Then, you’ll hike the majestic Bjelasnica to the top to see breathtaking views of the Rakitnica River Valley down below. The next day, you’ll embark on a full day tour of Mostar, the capital of Herzegovina to see iconic sites like the Stari Most Bridge. This trip will bring out the true beauty of this country and bring you to places you never even knew you wanted to go to.

Weather and Climate

Bosnia generally experiences hot summers and cold winters. Southern and western parts of the country have a Mediterranean climate with mild winters and very warm summers. In mountainous areas the summers are shorter and winter weather is more severe.

Day 1 :Sarajevo

Welcome to Sarajevo! When you arrive, your private airport transfer will take you to your hotel, help you check in, and provide a welcome package with your itinerary and tickets. You’ll have the day to relax and explore on your own.

Day 2 :Sarajevo - 6 Hour City Tour

Begin your day with a walk through the past as you visit the Sarajevo War Tunnels and then come out the other side to enjoy the excitement of Bascarsija as you explore the various shops selling traditional crafts, pottery, metalwork, and jewelry.Then, head on to Morica Han to see the caravanserai which once provided accommodations, food, and storage for many merchants in the past.You’ll also have time to walk along the Miljacka River as you wind down for the day.

Day 3 :Sarajevo - 8-9 Hour Hike

Today, you hike the beautiful Bjelasnica Mountain. After eating breakfast at the village of Umoljani, you begin the ascent to the village of Lukomir to each lunch enjoy the view of Rakitnica Canyon before you which drops down 2625 feet.

Day 4 :Sarajevo - 8 Hour Mostar Walking Tour

Discover the town of Mostar as you walk on the Old Bridge and the cobblestoned roads to Ottoman Quarter which used to be the home of many artists and craftsmen. On this tour, you will have the chance to visit Koski Mehmed Pasa Mosque and Muslibegovic House. Then, your transfer will take you to the airport for your flight home.
